It is so important for teachers to build those trusting relationships with their students because the students are not going to want to learn from you if they do not like you, which is so true because I have seen it before. I know how important it is to build relationships, so that is one of the things I focus on the first part of school as well as continuing it on throughout the year. My students are always telling me that I am their favorite teacher, and they always seem to be having fun in my classroom while still getting their work done.
